using the histogram, what percentage of people had systolic blood pressure between 110 and 139 inclusive?http://www1.broward.edu/~abiggs/myweb2/sampleunit1/images/f1q6g1.jpg
(B) greater than or equal to 130? (C) given there were 500 people how many had a systolic bp reading between 140 and 149 inclusive?

to understand the graph, you have to no where the intervals are on the x axis of the graph, which is the systolic BP. THE FIRST, WHICH IS 100-109, THEN YOU READ THE NEXT, STARTING AT 110-119 AND SO ON. BETWEEN 110 -119 THE PERCENT IS 35, BETWEEN 120 -129 THE PERCENT IS 25, BETWEEN 130-139 THE PERCENT IS 15. ADD THEM UP YOU GET 75 PERCENT.
B. GREATER THEN OR EQUAL TO 130 YOU ADD UP 15, 10, AND 5 PERCENT TO GET 30 PERCENT.
C. GIVEN THERE WERE 5 PERCENT OR .05 BETWEEN 140-149 TAKE .05 MULTIPLY IT BY 500 AND GET YOUR ANSWER. i WILL LEAVE THAT ONE TO YOU.
HOPE I HELPED.
